How to Order a Custom Knit Sweater:

Step 1: Download the size you would like from above. Sizing guide below:

Step 2: Go to the Knitwise website and select the crewneck classic fit sweater to design

Step 3: Click “Start Designing” then select “Draw on Design File”

Step 4: Give the Template a name

Step 5: For the size you wish to create click “choose file” and upload the template you downloaded in step 1

Step 7: Hit the check format in the bottom right of the screen, a green checkmark should appear next to the file indicating it has passed all the checks

Step 8: Check the 3D render, and when ready hit the “save template” button

Step 9: You will be redirected to your saved templates page, select the template you just created

Step 10: You should now be able to click “make order”

My obsession for McMaster reaches far and wide, from the off brand McCarr-Master merch scattered about my apartment, to the custom machined enamel catalogue pins I decorate belongings with its clear I have significant brand loyalty for the mighty industrial retailer.

So this holiday season I decided to design my own version of an ugly Christmas sweater to sport around using various motifs and parts from the website.

First off it wouldn’t be holiday-esq without some Christmas related decor. In place of the trees this sweater sports a multi-diameter stepped drill bit P/N 5910N22

Then the “ornaments” are actually the selection filter for bolt heads

Last but not least top it all off with some gears (6325K88) and bolts (91251A445) to get a lovely McMaster-Carr theme holiday sweater!
