1SE Frame

Personal Project

1 Second Everyday

For the last 8 years (starting in 2017) I have been recording a 1 second video clip every single day. Initially inspired by a TED talk on YouTube by Cesar Kuriyama I downloaded the app and the rest has been history.

That is why when I hit the 7 year mark I decided to celebrate by making a small physical frame to display a few special memories captured over the course of the project.

The basic frame was designed using solidworks cad to model the 1se app logo, leaving the inside portion empty to fill with a printout of images from various dates. this display mimics what a timeline looks like in the actual app.

Then all the parts were 3d printed, some minor details painted, and an acrylic cover was laser etched to seal the frame giving it a shadow-box feel.

As I am constantly trying to convince people to start their own 1SE journey I uploaded all the files below so others can make their own custom frame. Please let me know if you do end up making one as I would love to see it!

As for the 8 Years worth of 1 Second Videos, including shorter freestyles they can be viewed on my personal youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@lfahey

This is really great. I am from CO and watched your montage of your trip here. It was so much fun! I wasn’t familiar with the 1SE concept until now. More fits in 1 second than I would have guessed. One can really get a sense of the moment. Very cool!
